This place is always hoppin. From Mondays for Monday Night Football, to Saturday nights to see the throngs of Shadysiders, William Penn is sure to entertain.  A solid menu, good service, and packed house will make you forget about the slightly higher prices.  The back deck/patio/tent is a place to experience with nice people from wall to wall, and plenty of large round tables to sit and enjoy the night with a group of friends.  If you're doing a bar crawl through Shadyside, William Penn needs to be on that list.
